Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash Videogames [Characters and News]

What a great surprise, isn’t it? Bandai Namco and Viking are making the first Jujutsu kaisen console game it’s called Jujutsu Kaisen Curse Clash and it’s an arena fighter that seems to have a 2v2 focus. So far we’ve seen four playable characters with a hint for another four but how many characters will this game have and who are they?

That’s what we’re here to find out today looking at in this article. How big is the Roster?  I’m definitely expecting the number of characters in this roster to be between 16 and 19.

Since the game has a 2v2 focus I’m gonnasay the roster has an even number. I know season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen is starting soon (or it’s at its beginning) but for the sake of spoilers I’m gonna pretend like that’s not happening yet I’m gonna stick to season 1 characters as well as the movie and it’s already gonna be hard to narrow this down to 18 characters.

Let’s start with the characters that have been confirmed that have showed up in the trailer we’ve got:

Yuji seems to be a brawler type close range attacks and hard hitting combos nobody seems to be ranged using her hammer and nails to poke at enemies from a distance.

Megumi seems to be kind of a puppet character summoning different creatures and then controlling them or ordering them to do different things.

Gojo just looks like a God now with insane speed and teleporting all over the place and he hasn’t even taken the blindfold off yet.

In addition to these four characters we have another four that are semi-confirmed at this point they didn’t show up as playable but you can see them on

the final splash screen of the game and

those are:

I’m expecting Inumaki to be an extremely powerful character in very short bursts someone who can absolutely dominate their opponents from a distance but then his stuff goes on cooldown and you’re gonna be very vulnerable.

Maki is probably going to be a close range specialist changing her moveset with each weapon she summons I mean Viking has already made a character that’s kinda like that with Momo. Then we have Panda who would probably be an install character starting as the regular Panda but then switching to his brother’s core and going Guerrilla mode for a limited time so maybe something like “Fat Gum in One’s Justice but you know maybe make him a good character instead of fat gum I kind of want to play Panda.

Of course we have Sukuna this being a 2v2 game there’s gonna be a good chance that you won’t be able to pick Yuji and Sukuna at the same time as they share the same body because anime games often follow this rule. I expect Sukuna being like an absolute God, the same way that Gojo does right now very close range focus but with insane mobility and just teleporting all over the place.

We have is 8 characters so far and from this point on we are clearly blind there arestill 10 characters to go and I have a lot of ideas and wishes for who those would be but let’s see if you guys agree.

First up I think there is a second year student missing from this roster and hisname is Okotsu Yuta.

Another superpower being that I think everyone will want to play as they could really do a lot with this character I don’t know if they give him Rika or just havehim do basically everything else they could give him any play style and it would probably fit because he just hasmain character energy so. We also may have Utah.

Looking at this roster, I’m noticing a distinct lack of villains there’s only Sukuna so far and even Sukuna he’s kind of a chaotic element to Jujutsu he’s not really your typical villain such an evil guy with an evil plot. It’s justchaotic but that’s kind of the reason why I love Jujutsu Kaisen. There’s an extra element outside of the good and evil factions.

We have just added Utah we have to add the main villain from the movie and a big presence in Jujutsu Kaisen as a whole Geto is kind of a mega men on steroids.

We also need to add at least all the special grades that had a meaningful fight in season 1.

So we start with Jogo who had that fantastic fight against Gojo.

I think he’d have a mix of mid to long range abilities being able to shoot lava and shoot the insects but also have that close range open palm fighting style then we have Mahito can reshape Souls causing his own body to transform in some weird ways but also making him very dangerous from the close range because if he touches you it could be game over so this would definitely be a close range fighter too.

I do think Nanami would make it as well I know Nanami is not a villain (I’m just taking a small break from villains).

Finally we have to add Hanami from that epic fightwith Yuji and Toto Hanami has very big attacks with the nature theme being able to summon trees and Vines at will but Hanami is not really a long-range fighter I mean Hanami can shoot some buds that suck your cursed energy.

In general Hanami is trying to get in and punch you so I think Hanami is definitely going to be more of a brawler with some mid-range specials and we do have one more villain to add but I know this is the point to add Finger Bearer. Not even a named character just a special grade finger bearer if you’re gonna have anythingthat resembles a story mode in this game.

Then the finger Bearer special grade is a must-have they show up twice in season one in moments that you simply cannot skip to tell the story and in a way this would be the equivalent of a My Hero One’s Justice so I can definitely see afinger Bearer making it into the roster.

The problem with that is we only have three spots left and that’s really bad news because we still haven’t added anyone from the Kyoto school and I’ve got a total of six good candidates thatI definitely want to add which means half of these are getting cut well Toto is definitely making it let’s not joke around out of these six is the only guarantee he’s got to be a brawler but that curse technique clapping to switch places with your opponent that’s easily one of the coolest abilities in the entirety of Jujutsu Kaisen plus this is a 2v2 game so I guarantee you that day one there will be people trying to recreate this one fight they’re gonna hop online with their friend one of them is gonna be like I’m Yuji.

So definitely adding Toto two spots left and out of these five remaining characters I would probably say that Kamo Noritoshi has the biggest chance of making it with bloodmanipulation he can make weapons or traps as he pleases but I do think his main weapon would be the bow so I cansee him becoming a long range fighter primarily and using his blood manipulation for some close range attacks or to stave off an approaching opponent and just like that we’re we’re down to one character slot now out of these four remaining characters.

I gotta say my favorite is Miwa from personality to gameplay hell: yeah give me a katana user so it is with great pain that I’m gonna give the last slot to Mai she’s simply a more important character in this universe the other ones have very good arcs but their fights kinda happen to the side isolated you can safely ignore those encounters and still tell the Jujutsu Kaisen story Mai however gives us some big insight into the elitist nature of these families in this universe as they show her contrast to her sister Maki plus she’s got a gun and if I don’t puther in the roster she’s gonna shoot me so that’s it roster than completes 18.

As may see there’s a bunch of possibilities among the playable characters that could appear on Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash release. However, nowadays, we also see that a lot of characters come with DLC at in this case an extension of the playable characters and of their moveset it’s almost certain as Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 just started airing on TV.
