My Hero Academia Filler LIST [Explained]

Order to watch and plot summary [MHA Anime]

Introduction to My Hero Academia universe.

As we already pointed out in our Anime Filler section (where we discussed about One Piece, Bleach and other filler arcs), the filler episodes may be very frustating if not carefully inserted. Fortunately, it’s the case of My Hero Academia fillers. In fact, we count only a bunch of filler episodes out of the 114 episodes in the anime, setting a 4.5% filler rate (one of the lowest, you consider Bleach, for example)

The filler episodes you can skip on MHA anime.

My Hero Academia (MHA) has filler episodes, you’re right but it doesn’t mean they are not worth watching. In fact, these episodes refresh our minds after intense action moments.

What are mixed/canon episodes in My Hero Academia.

Mixed Canon Episodes contain some part of additional content that doesn’t exist in the manga. On the other hand, manga canon episodes define the story that follows the original events of the manga. But to enjoy and understand the anime completely, you need to watch these Mixed Canon Episodes too.

What is My Hero Academia Anime about?

Boku no Hero Academia (also known as My Hero Academia) has a total number of 113 + 5 OVA episodes. I will just tell you that the anime revolves around a boy who loves superheroes. Determined to enroll in a prestigious school he slowly learns the path of being a hero. The boy is born in a world where a superpower is commonplace but unlike others, he isn’t born with any. With the aspiration and dream, he decides to become a superhero someday.

Why you should watch My Hero Academia (MHA)

The anime is quite a popular one and piqued the interest of many. The usual hero trope is broken and the show itself creates a new idea which is a fresh air breather for all fans. The story is unique and different will change your perspective. The anime will lead you through a journey of fun and excitement.

The manga was a bestseller back in 2019. It ranked the 6th bestseller position in 2019 and 8th in 2020 respectively with over a million copies being sold. And last year it sold 7 million copies. Wild isn’t it!!!

If the illustration and the poster make you feel that it’s childish then believe me don’t judge the book by its cover. Like Literally!! Like Naruto, this one is also quite a mature one!

The best way to watch My Hero Academia (recommended order watch)

The chronological order isn’t recommended: All Might Rising is meant to be watched before the movie, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and it won’t make sense if that’s the first thing you watch. In fact, unlike other anime series, the chronological order (see also The right order to watch Steins;Gate) isn’t the ideal way to experience this show, as flashback content is better with an understanding of the characters.

  • Season 1: My Hero Academia
  • OVA 1: (Jump Festa) My Hero Academia: Save! Rescue Training!
  • My Hero Academia 2: Hero Note
  • Season 2: My Hero Academia 2
  • OVA 2: My Hero Academia: Training of the Dead
  • My Hero Academia: All Might: Rising (Two Heroes Special)
  • My Hero Academia: Two Heroes
  • Season 3: My Hero Academia 3
  • My Hero Academia: Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training
  • Season 4: My Hero Academia 4
  • My Hero Academia the Movie 2: Heroes: Rising
  • Season 5: My Hero Academia 5
  • My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission
