  Toradora! Synopsis:

  Ryuuji Takasu is a gentle high school student with a love for housework. He has an intimidating face that often gets him labeled as a delinquent. On the other hand is Taiga Aisaka, a small, doll-like student, who is anything but a cute and fragile girl. Equipped with a wooden katana and feisty personality, Taiga is known throughout the school as the “Palmtop Tiger.”
  One day, an embarrassing mistake causes the two students to cross paths. Ryuuji discovers that Taiga actually has a sweet side: she has a crush on the popular vice president, Yuusaku Kitamura, who happens to be his best friend.   Oregairu (SNAFU), also referred as ‘Yahari Ore no Seishun Rabukome wa Machigatte Iru’ in Japanese, has the perfect deadpan characters that may even come close to home in real-life, but the beauty of this anime lies in realism. In the case of Oregairu, which tries to replicate real human interactions with its harsh views on the world. This anime is a kind of soft romance show.  The series has a good amount of unhappy and depressing moments. However, it often uses charming and humorous take on loneliness and societal rejection. It approaches hard to talk about subjects without making the topic feel heavy for viewers.

  Wotakoi is a comedy romance anime with the peculiarity it focuses on the feelings and emotions between the Otakus. In fact, the romance in this anime is more of just a setting as it is hardly explored. It will only occasionally throw in some romantic moments. Meanwhile, the jokes in this anime are rarely funny. I feel like the biggest problem to the comedy is the awful timing. It is really slow at delivering punchlines, making it unfunny at most times.

  Wotakoi Synopsis:

  Wotaku: Love is hard for Otaku is a romance comedy which characters are Otakus (Anime or Game Otakus). It is set in an office setting, featuring 4 main characters (2 couples) that are dating each other. Here in there, you would see direct references to manga, anime, games, and the likes. However, this anime fails to deliver well in both comedy and romance. • A Silent Voice (Movie)

  A Silent Voice  (Koe no katachi) evoked a roller coaster of emotions, some easy to emphasis with, and others made easy to resonate with! The plot starts vigorously but with a pace you could easily keep up with. It slightly stagnates to build context until the plot’s climax – which got my spine tingling – a climax that I don’t want to ruin for the unsuspecting! But the stagnation is what stops it from getting a 10/10 for its plot. The strategic retreat from the plot’s focus enabled for a good few laughs and set up what was to come very well, but it turned a 2 hours movie into what felt like a 3 hour movie, where I was anticipating the end mid way though as it seemed like they had reached a happily ever after.
  

  A Silent voice Synopsis:

  A Silent Voice is an amazing wave of touching topics: love, friendship and bullying. Shouya Ishida starts bullying the new girl in class, Shouko Nishimiya, because she is deaf. But as the teasing continues, the rest of the class starts to turn on Shouya for his lack of compassion. When they leave elementary school, Shouko and Shouya do not speak to each other again – until an older, wiser Shouya, tormented by his past behaviour, decides he must see Shouko once more. He wants to atone for his sins, but is it already too late?

• I want to eat your Pancreas (Movie)

  I want to eat your Pancreas (Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai) is devastatingly beautiful – a gut-punch of a romantic drama that will leave you broken and have you crying your eyes out by its ending. Impressed, amazed, fascinated and grateful. There aren’t words to describe the wonderful way in which this was carried out. A story where we don’t even need the name of the protagonist to feel identified; to be in his place. You could call it one more movie. But, for me it’s a masterpiece made with a lot of love and commitment. 5 minutes are enough to focus your attention to the facts. It exposes us to a form of love so pure, so reciprocal, so… correct, that we all should take a moment to think and reflect on it.

  I want to eat your Pancreas Synopsis:

  Haruki comes across a book in a hospital waiting room. He soon discovers that it is a diary kept by his very popular classmate, Sakura, who reveals to him that she is secretly suffering from a fatal pancreatic illness. Despite this, Sakura intends to maintain a normal school life, and thus is drawn to Haruki due to his relatively unfazed reaction to her condition. They begin to spend time together and become friends.
